Production week 1

Here we are at the beginning of the production phase for Turri Wakcha.
This week was all about planning the further development and production of the game, creating tasks and assigning these to the different team members. We also started on the most important tasks, so everything that is needed for the core mechanics  of Turri Wakcha is what we assigned the highest priority to.

Planning out the production

In the process of planning we split the production of the game in three production sprints.

Sprint 1 with the goal of having a basic version of the game with the main mechanics working.
Sprint 2 to produce the other parts of the game such as UI and the other features we have in mind for our final version.
Sprint 3, the polish sprint, which is for making the game more beautiful, and giving it a few more features and nice touches here and there if the time allows us to.

Then we had to create all the tasks that have to be done for the production of Turri Wakcha, split them into tasks for developers and artists and plan out which of them have to be done in the first production sprint. The last part was to assign these tasks to the different team members.

Art progress

The basic block for the tower stacking has been designed and modeled. As well as the environment and play field is already in production.

Developing progress

Programming wise we have basic movement for a multiplayer setup running as well as the automatic spawning of the players, this still has to be tested in our next meeting.
