Production week 6
Production Sprint 2 Week 3
This weeks devlog also wraps up the second production sprint as a whole.
We started this sprint at a point where we had the base functionality and the needed amount of assets for that finished.
The goal for this week was to get the game ready to play, so we only have to polish it by adding little effects, change some textures and maybe fix some minor bugs in the coming weeks.
The work during this sprint went pretty smooth, we managed to get the progress we were aiming for. What we still have to work on is some more playtesting and balancing out the game.
One of the main focus points this week was adding sound to the game. Sound is one of the most important factors when it comes to a games mood and tone, also it is a very important feedback element.
There were also some more particle effects added to the game.
Furthermore all the missing functionality has been implemented into the game, one of them being the different blocks features.
And finally we added some finishing touches already, such as a new sky sphere, better post processing and some fog and better lighting.
