Turri Wakcha - Final Devlog
The last 2 weeks were the final weeks of our project. We spent them making our game as clean and bug free as we possibly could.
We worked on making the UI work more smoothly. The buttons have been made smaller and we fixed a rogue pixel in one of the buttons. The winning screen also have been adjusted so that the correct player character gets displayed when the game ends. We also added some controls for the volume of the sounds in game.
There were a few bugs that needed to be fixed. One of those bugs was that the 4th player did not seem to get affected by the rainbow block as it should. That has been fixed and he now grows as he should when using the rainbow block.
Another bug we had was an error in the animator, when a player would get punched around too much in succession, they would get stuck in the state of them sitting on the ground. The explosive block now also correctly destroys towers when placed on them regurlarly.
A lot of our time in the last few weeks went into preparing the presentation of our game. We made a neat trailer showing off how our game works and how much fun it is to play aswell as an accompanying Powerpoint presentation.
All in all, this was a very valuable and educative experience for all of us. We tried our best to make a game that is fun for all ages and we feel like we have succeeded. We are all happy with the result and are proud to present Turri Wakcha.
